The Herm Sprenger MICRO Black Stainless Steel Training Collar is a premium training tool designed specifically for small dogs and toy breeds. Crafted with Herm Sprenger's renowned quality, this collar offers professional-grade training capabilities in a size perfect for petite pooches. Made of high quality German Black stainless steel, the size of this collar can be adjusted by adding or removing the links individually.
The collar consists of a center plate, assembly chain, 2 O-rings. The blunt prongs are effective without causing pain. The Ultra-Plus refers to the middle plate of the dressage chain and the therefore synchronously arranged middle links. This feature is not only better for the fur because there are smaller risks of it to get tangled, but also optimises the communication with the dog.
This collar is made of black stainless steel. Each collar made of this material has a high-gloss surface. But it is not all. Black stainless steel is the same composition of iron, chromium, silicon, nickel and carbon that makes up traditional stainless steel products. What’s in it for you? The collar will not rust even in conditions of seawater or high humidity. But it has a protective coating of polymer that creates a black finish. Black stainless steel is as durable as classic stainless steel, but features a richer, deeper colored finish.
This black stainless steel collar is suitable for dogs with dark fur and those canines who are not reactive to nickel. The collars made of black stainless steel are not recommended for dogs with light coat, as because of normal abrasion processes they may color fur. If your dog has light fur we advise to order a nickel free curogan or stainless steel prong collar.
All Herm Sprenger pinch collars come in a standard length which is adjusted to fit the neck of the dog by removing or adding links to the collar. The size of this particular pinch collar is 13 inches (32 cm) long with prong's diameter - 1.5mm). So, it will do for dogs with 11 inches (28 cm) neck size.
Herm Sprenger collars and links are made in metric measurements, then converted to inches approximation for the U.S. market.
