How often do you use chain collars? Probably you have noticed that they tend to twist from time to time. If that annoys you inner perfectionist, we have a solution for you! This rust and corrosion proof chain collar does not only help teach your dog some manners. It has modern design and won't twist every time you use it.
This item consists of a round twin chain with 1/9 inches (3.0mm) wire gauge each and two rings. The chain runs well through the ring thanks to the short links. So, you can quickly tighten the collar and immediately release it to get sharp correction. In such a way, your dog will quickly learn which behavior is appropriate. This twin chain collar has a limit on how tight it gets. No more unlimited choking and, as a result, no traumas.
Short link chain collars can cause hair breakage at long and very fine fur. If your dog has long hair, consider long link chain collars.
This chain collar is made of stainless steel. Being made of this material, the collar is the most proficient product for all situations in your dog's and your life. Because of the seawater resistance and the rust proof characteristics, the item will serve your dog for many years showing no signs of rusting. And here is why. Chromium and nickel are present throughout stainless steel, not just on the surface (compare - steel with chrome coating that can be easily damaged and result in rusting). Because of this, the microscopic layer will form itself anew, even when the steel is cut or scratched.
Stainless steel is not likely to stain white fur, but is not suitable for nickel-reactive dogs as it contains nickel. If your dog is allergic to nickel, then you’d better choose a curogan prong collar.
As for dark-furred dogs, any material, including chrome plated steel and black stainless steel, will do for them. Check models with other designs.
This chain collar comes in several sizes and will do for dogs with weight up to 132 lbs (60 kg). Please measure the length of your dog's neck circumference and add from 2 to 3 inches to determine an appropriate collar length. Measurements are made from the end of one ring to end of another ring. See the chart to find the size your dog needs.
